Our client, a busy New York professional, sought our design services for her newly purchased 3-bedroom 3-bathroom condominium on the Upper East Side.  Her priorities for the gutted space were storage and functionality, and a soothing, restrained atmosphere.  Our studio rethought every inch of space, designed built-ins to maximize storage, as well as pulled together new color schemes and furnishings- even down to the cabinet pulls.  Our studio created her new space to be a welcomed respite from her busy schedule, a place to entertain colleagues, and a place that could warmly welcome visiting family.  An austere monochromatic color palette is embellished with deep contrasts in shade and pattern- in one case combining bold high gloss black cabinetry and trim with cream and soft grey damask wallpaper.  A great percentage of her existing furnishings were utilized- adapted, refinished, updated, and reupholstered to fit the design of her new place.  Our studio completed the massive gut renovation in an astounding 6-month construction window.
